Hello, I’m Victoria!

Since the age of 16 I worked in a pharmacy. Graduating pharmacy school and becoming the manager of a pharmacy was a dream of mine come true. I believed in the power of medicine. I believed in the connection I could have with patients that regularly visited my counter.

The more time I spent filling prescriptions for diabetes, high blood pressure, and cholesterol, the more I realized we need to get to the root cause of these diseases and educate how to prevent them altogether. I no longer wanted to provide the bandaid without offering solutions.

In 2019 when my girls had grown and I was ready to return to work, I knew I wanted to help women in a different capacity. For far too long I have seen a traditional western medicine system set up in a way that doesn’t serve women as it should. Not only is there a place for prescriptive care today, but there is also a place for an integrative approach to functional medicine. My vision of health for my clients has shifted into advocacy for the care SHE chooses. I stand in the middle of Western medicine and integrative wellness to provide the bridge women need to receive the care they want.

I believe each woman should be entitled to the care of her choice…and it doesn’t have to be definitively one way or the other. A woman shouldn’t feel shamed by functional medicine for taking an antibiotic or hormone replacement therapy just as she shouldn’t be shamed by traditional western medicine for wanting to focus on HPA axis regulation, sleep hygiene, gut health, or nutrition and lifestyle changes.

During our time together, I want clients to feel empowered to choose what healthy means to her. There is no shame or guilt for not adhering to a “program” or workout regimen. There is only space for knowing that she has been met where she is in her life at that moment and offered the best choices for her to make.
